Cool Company Profile - Minicami

Whilst perusing the Onceit site looking for Christmas pressie ideas, I came across Minicami and loved their products so much that I went searching for more information. Turns out they're a pretty cool kiwi company based in Whangamata, who make beautiful garments - right up my alley, so here they are being featured on my second cool company profile.
Justine Connolly, founder and director of Minicami has had over 20 years of experience in the New Zealand fashion industry, workingin sales and marketing for various fashion clothing labels. She has now decided to combine all her experience to create her own business, Minicami.
"Two years ago my husband had quite a bad surfing accident and while I was caring for him I was researching for some thing to fill my time. I designed and developed the Minicamis and gave them to family and friends to trial. They were a hit, and the word spread. Before I knew it I had a fledgling small business on my hands."
There are two products that Justine makes; the Minicami style and the Bralette. Both gorgeous hand made undergarments, carefully hand made and detailed, available in a number of flattering colours. Minicami are all locally produced in Whangamata, in the Coromandel!
Minicami are taking off and I can totally see why! Unique, stunning, hand made garments that are produced ethically and priced very reasonably. they are now accepting orders from oversease and are in high demand! It's so great to see a genuine local company doing well, even on the international stage.
